SchneiTec Trading, a new business propose under SchneiTec Group, mainly focuses on import and distribution electric equipment with core values of quality, reasonable price, and customer-care base to the consumers in Cambodia. Due to the growth of the economics and population, Cambodian eventually needs a change of life-style; for instance, shopping from local market to marts / super markets and from living old home to Borey or condo communities. Meanwhile, there are also many pop-ups of construction companies and electric equipment traders along with Electricity Nationwide. Even though, the number of the electric equipment importers is high, the competition is still limited.
To fully leverage the latest technology with a sense of providing a low-cost and affordable electricity to remote communities, as well as improving the national grid’s transmission and distribution networks, SchneiTec Group has been cooperating with many world-class partners to achieve its smart grid management system.
Utilizing its years of professional experience in the field, SchneiTec Group has developed an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) team, dedicating for operating the power plants, in accordance with a prudent grid utility practice and standard.
Seeing the rapidly growing demand of electricity throughout the Kingdom, SchneiTec Group has paid particular attention to provide a smooth and highly efficient transmission of electricity for the national grid. With that said, SchneiTec Group has invested in several build and transfer (BT) transmission line projects to diversify the supply of electricity between provinces.
Commencing from serving as the independent consultant and qualified expert for the coal and hydro power plants, SchneiTec Group has so far been looking deeper into a coal & hydro power plant sector, via developing a feasibility study that could eventually investing and owning the power plant in the near-distance future.
As a pioneer of the utility scale renewable power plant in Cambodia, SchneiTec Group has expanded rapidly to be one of leading renewable energy developers in the region. As a proof of that, we have invested and owned more 240 MW of solar PV power plants throughout the Kingdom, thereby supplying sustainable and clean energy more than 23 TWh every year to the national grid.
